Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a medication?

Tap the + button to add a new medication. Enter the name, dosage, and set your reminder schedule. You can also take a photo of the medication for easy identification.

How do reminders work?

MedsTracker sends local notifications at the times you configure for each medication. All notification processing happens entirely on your device — nothing is sent to a server.

Can I track multiple medications?

Yes. You can add as many medications as you need, each with its own schedule and reminders.

What is compliance tracking?

MedsTracker tracks whether you mark your medications as taken on time. The compliance view shows your adherence history so you can see how consistently you follow your schedule.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your medications, schedules, or health information. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud.

Can I transfer my data to a new phone?

Your data is stored locally on the device. Use your platform’s built-in backup and restore feature (iCloud backup for iOS, Google backup for Android) to transfer data when switching devices.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. MedsTracker works entirely offline. No internet connection is required.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual medications from within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all data. Since everything is stored locally, uninstalling completely removes all your information.

  • A description of the problem
  • What you expected to happen
