Introduction

GrænseListen is a cross-border shopping list app developed by RH-DEV. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is stored, and how it is used.

Account & Authentication

GrænseListen supports sign-in via Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In. When you sign in, we receive:

• Your name (as provided by the identity provider)
• Your email address
• A unique account identifier

This information is used solely to create and manage your account. We do not access your Apple ID or Google account password.

Data We Collect

The app stores the following data related to your shopping activity:

• Shopping lists (name, date, items)
• Shopping items (product name, category, quantity, prices)
• Store information (name, address, notes)
• Group memberships and shared list data

This data is stored both locally on your device and on our backend server to enable cross-platform synchronization.

Cloud Sync & Data Storage

Your shopping data is synced across your devices via our backend service hosted at gl-api.rh-dev.io. All network communication is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS/WSS).

On iOS and macOS, local data may also be backed up via iCloud CloudKit as an additional sync layer.

The app works offline — changes are queued locally and synced when a connection is available.

Sharing & Collaboration

You can share shopping lists with others via invite links or family groups. When you share a list:

• Group members can see the list contents and who created or edited items
• Invite links expire based on time or usage limits
• You can leave a group or revoke access at any time

Shared data is never shared with advertisers or third parties.

Exchange Rates

The app fetches EUR-to-DKK exchange rates from the European Central Bank (ECB). No personal data is sent in these requests. Rates are cached locally on your device.

Crash Reporting

The app uses GlitchTip (a Sentry-compatible, self-hosted service) to collect anonymous crash reports. This helps us identify and fix technical issues. Crash reports may include:

• Device type and OS version
• App version
• Technical error information

Crash reports do not contain your shopping data, account credentials, or personally identifiable information.

In-App Purchases

Premium features are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We store your premium status and transaction identifier to verify your purchase. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details.

Permissions

The app does not access your camera, location, contacts, photos, or microphone.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Delete individual shopping lists or items from within the app
• Use “Reset all data” in Settings to clear everything
• Log out to clear local credentials and revoke your session

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
